Natural Oils that Fight Acne

There is a growing disillusionment with chemical acne treatments due to their severe side-effects. Tea Tree Oil is one ingredient that is proven to be more powerful against acne and far gentler for the skin as compared to many popular acne-fighting chemicals. Two other oils which have also been traditionally used against acne with good results are Black Currant Seed Oil and Sunflower Oil.

Black Currant Seed Oil is gaining popularity as an oral treatment as it prevents blemishes, boils and lesions from acne. It is known to contain antioxidants that attach themselves to free radicals and thus slow down the ageing process. It is also loaded with essential fatty acids with help to maintain the moisture of the skin while attacking bacteria and irritants under skin.

Sunflower oil is an excellent source of essential vitamins including A, C, D and E, and is a good topical treatment against acne and other skin problems. It is gentle and effective on all skin types, and has no side-effects. Sunflower oil is also highly beneficial when ingested, and people with skin problems caused by internal vitamin deficiencies are recommended to incorporate its use in cooking.

The vitamins in Sunflower Oil cure acne and improve the overall appearance and health of your skin. Vitamins attack free radicals and help the skin and cell membranes stay healthy.

Natural oils such as Tea Tree Oil, Black Currant Seed Oil and Sunflower Oil are excellent alternatives to over-the-counter medications, and are especially recommended for those who have seen limited success or severe side-effects with chemical treatments.
